Metro Mayor's Caucus Meeting for February 2022. Legislative Update.
It was an early morning to for the Metro Mayor's Caucus. We received our Legislative Update from the Colorado Municipal League. A lot of "interesting" Bills being heard at the Capitol this year. The Home Rule Municipality is under attack this year! There is a bill that takes any collective bargaining our of the municipalities hands -and gives the control to the State.
It is a honor to meet monthly with our Metro Mayor's - including Jackie Millet from Lone Tree, Tracy Engerman from Castle Pines and Jason Gray from Castle Rock - from all over the region. Different perspectives, different issues, all committed to their communities.
